Innovail – Spring 2026 Update
System Development
Financial Performance System – Now Live
We’ve completed the first release of the Financial Performance System.
The focus has been consistency and control rather than adding more reporting.
Key elements
- Structured financial model replacing disconnected spreadsheets
- Automated data handling to reduce manual intervention
- Built-in validation checks to improve data confidence
- Clear outputs designed for decision use rather than presentation
The main shift is reducing reliance on reworked Excel files and improving trust in the underlying numbers.
System Development
Operational Intelligence System – Now Live
Alongside financial performance, we’ve launched the Operational Intelligence System.
This has been built to link operational activity to outcomes, rather than treating them separately.
Key elements
- Connection between operational inputs and financial results
- Visibility of process performance and constraints
- More regular, structured data flows
- Reporting focused on identifying patterns, not just summarising activity
The intent is to make operational data usable in decision-making, not just recorded.
Publication - New Book
Excel x Copilot – Enhancing Excel Without Replacing It
Jamie Baker - Our Founder has released a new book
The book focuses on practical use rather than theory.
Coverage includes
- Where Copilot adds value inside Excel
- Where it introduces risk or inconsistency
- How to use it without breaking structured models
- Maintaining control and auditability alongside AI
The position is straightforward: Excel remains central in most businesses, and AI should be applied carefully within that context.

Leaflets Produced and Website update
Printed leaflets have been designed and ordered.
This is being used to support:
- In-person meetings
- Local visibility
- Events and networking
The aim is simple, to have clear, tangible material that explains what Innovail does without relying on digital access.
The Innovail website has been rebuilt.
Changes are structural rather than cosmetic.
Updates include
- Clearer explanation of how solutions are delivered
- Alignment with the Discover, Design, Develop, Deliver model
- Improved navigation for different types of client
- More direct explanation of the problems being addressed
The goal was to make the site easier to understand and more useful in real conversations.
